Victory Apostolic Church
Fellowship with the Victory Thunderettes Cheerleaders and Coaching Staff at Victory Apostolic Church. We invite you to join us weekly for Bible Study, Prayer and Praise Service, Christian Education, and Worship Service. There are several ways to get involved at Victory for all ages. Illinois Recreational Cheerleading Association (IRCA)
Victory Thunderettes Youth Cheer Team is an active member of the Illinois Recreational Cheerleading Association. We appreciate the relationships that we have gained through membership with the IRCA, especially the competitive opportunities that benefit our Jr. Varsity and Varsity Competition Teams. The IRCA also provides annual training seminars, which we utilize regularly.
American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators (AACCA)
When we think safety, we think AACCA! The American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators has been our #1 source for safety training. In fact, several of our Coaches have completed the extensive AACCA Coaches Safety Certification training and testing.
Matteson Community Center is a 73,000 sq. ft. facility complete with outdoor tennis courts, soccer field, basketball courts, baseball diamond, and football stadium, along with an indoor pool, basketball courts, dance studio, and multipurpose rooms.
Our Thunderettes utilize the Matteson Community Center for performances during basketball season (January - March).
Cheerleading is good for your heart! Our Team loves the heart healthy tips and initiatives generated by the American Heart Association. Our Coaches receive CPR/AED training, and our Team participates in activities for Heart Health Month.
The American Heart Association is a national voluntary health agency to help reduce disability and death from cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
